Condolences
I worked with Tom as he served on the Board of the Red Deer & District Community Foundation. He was the Vice Chair for 2 years. I remember him as a very thoughtful person, in a way that his words are few but when he speaks, it is always meaningful.
He also lived close to where I did at that time.
The last time I saw him was on the naming of the Book Shop at the Red Deer Public Library, which was named in honour of his contributions to the Library.
He was a community builder.
Condolences to the family.
Many hours spent with him going through the Eatons and Bay catalogs looking at toys. Making paper airplanes and flying them together and going to air shows. He always made time for me. Going to miss you immensely Dad. Great leader, role model, father, and friend.
I had the great pleasure of doing work with Mr Stevens during his time in Red Deer. His professionalism, wisdom, and kindness was like no other. My deepest condolences to the family. May your memories of this great man carry you through.
Tom was an an amazing human being and a fantastic Library Board chair at Red Deer Public Library! My condolences to the family!
