Obituary of Harvena Flora Snow

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our daughter, mother, youngest sister, granddaughter, cousin and friend Harvena Flora Snow at the age of 32 years.
She was born in Calgary, AB and received her education at Morley Day School. She valued her Stoney cultural traditions. She enjoyed the sports of darts and baseball. She was an artist and liked to design and do artwork. Her kindness and warmth were unmatched, and she will be forever missed. We all cherished the moments we had with her.
Harvena is survived by her children, Kassie, Teiyo, Brailie, and Princeton; her loving parents, Harvey and Delphine; sisters, Tiffany (Gabriel), Jovita (Tom), Aldina (Carlyle), Kelvina, and Angela; and brothers, Craig and Jerry Goodeagle.
She is also survived by her nephews, Ti Eagon, Blaine, Eric Jr, Kian, Isiah, Issac, Carlyle Jr, Donovan, Scott, Peyton, Michael, and Mason; nieces, Dionte, Emma, Mary, Xlyla, Charlotte, Minta, Mini, and Taylor whom she always cherished and loved; uncles, Brian (Eldra) Lawrence, Ollie (Laine), Elliot (Maureen), Tommy (Ping), Hank (Iona) Bruce, Alden (Jackie) Snow, Marvin Bigstoney, and Crayton Fox; aunties, Linda Rabbit, Irene Fox, Jacqueline Rider, Heather (Audley), Trudy, Jolie, Julie, Niyo, Lana, Loretta, and Michelle; and cousins, John Jr, Rachael, Terry, Gloria, Tony, Tosha, Billy, Renwick, Rowan (Nora), Kliman, Latricia, Desi (Olivia), Joe, Preston, Stacey, Shadino, Gendrick, Mryna, Ramona, and Greg. Harvena is also survived by her grandmothers, Glenda Crawler, Violet Beaver and Kathleen (Henry), Mina and Evangeline Benjamin, and Margaret (George); and families from Bearspaw, Benjamin, Beaver, Crawler, Fox, Ear, House, Holloway, Mark, Rabbit, Twoyoungmen, Snow, Jimmy John, Simeon and Wesley Beaver. We apologize if we have missed anyone, as she had lots of family.
Harvena was predeceased by her grandfathers, Wallace (Frances) Snow, and Nelson (Flora) Rabbit; grandfather Dr. Chief John Snow (Alva); grandmothers, Ruby (Nelson), Evelyn, Violet, Winnifred, and Verna; great-grandparents, Tom Snow and Cora Bigstoney; sister Betty and brother Billy; aunties, Deborah, Mildred and Angela; her best friend Desina Holloway, and uncles, Irvine, Charlie (Chuck) Casey, Bobby, Willie, Danny, Genrich, Chris, Daryl, Ronnie, and Ernest.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Harvey and Delphine Snow (Mînî Thnî, AB) on Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held at Mînî Thnî United Church (Mînî Thnî, AB) on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Goodstoney Cemetery (Mînî Thnî, AB).
