Obituary of Kathleen Anne Tomlin

April 29, 1949 – Trail, British Columbia

December 2, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that our beloved wife, Mom, Nan, Aunt, and friend, Kathleen Tomlin, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, while surrounded by the love and support of her family.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Mark, her children, Graeme (Jennifer), Asheley Newmarch (Paul), and Hamish Lugsdin (Christine); her four grandsons, Parker and Clark Tomlin, and Kieran and Finn Newmarch; her niece and nephew, Amanda and Clinton Wilson; and her step-grandchildren, Chet and Christian Lugsdin.

Everyone who knew Kath was touched by her warm heart, easy-going manner, wicked sense of humour, and her love for her family. She was happiest at home in her kitchen, where she’d whip up countless culinary masterpieces including her famous tea buns, read murder mysteries, and discuss the day’s news over a cup of tea.

At Kathleen's request, there will be no formal service held. Details for a Celebration of Kathleen’s Life will be shared at a later date.
