Obituary of Donna Rogalski

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Donna Rogalski, who left our world on Monday, December 2, 2024, surrounded by her two loving children, Kathie (Ed) and Paul (Carol).

Donna had a remarkable gift for connecting with everyone she met, forming cherished bonds that spanned her lifetime. She had an uncanny ability to brighten a room with her presence and was always ready to lend an ear to anyone who needed it. Her wise words, "You never know what’s going to happen when you wake up in the morning", became a daily mantra for her close family.

Gramma Donna or GG as she was known by so many, provided unwavering support and inspiration to all who knew her. Her infectious smile, loving spirit, and passion for bringing people together defined her. She loved hosting gatherings, always making sure no one left hungry.

Among the many things she adored, including robins, dogs, and football, her family held the most special place in her heart. Above all, she cherished her grandchildren, Tiffany (Danny), Anika, and Kendall, and great-grandchildren, Caelan and Kalila. Donna was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Walter, and her sister Dixie.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the team at AgeCare Midnapore, who supported Donna and enriched her life in countless ways with their exceptional care and compassion.

A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held at Valley Ridge Golf Club (11618 Valley Ridge Park NW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 3:30 p.m.
