Sharing a great memory from 2018 of a special hike up Ha Ling Peak with my favorite sister and brother-in-law, prior to the devastating diagnosis that took Perry from us far too soon. Both Kathy and Perry strode up the mountain fearlessly, me not so much. Both, however, provided support, encouragement and handholding when needed.

The support shown between Kathy and India and Perry for each other, and all of those who loved Perry and felt helpless in the face of such a devastating disease never wavered. I have endless admiration for Perry’s indomitable spirit, as he showed us to face adversity with courage, a sense of humour, adaptability and acceptance. May he hike evermore and enjoy the beauty of nature which he so loved.
