To Wayne, Bettina and family. So very sorry to hear of Irene's passing, a gentle soul. She was a good friend and neighbor to my mother, Julie Toro. They would get together with Martha, another special neighbor, to celebrate birthdays. I have kept her special floral cards she gave to mom over the years and to me. I knew both of your parents. They were such quiet, gentle people.

Your Mom was in my church choir and her gentle presence and soft laugh is ingrained in my mind.

Irene used to phone me on my birthday and sing a song for me...it was a highlight of my day for many years:)

And I have many cards with pressed flowers from her, tucked away to bring out and admire at random times:)
