Obituary of Carol Ann Hogarth

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Hogarth, a beloved mother, nana, sister, auntie, and friend. Carol passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 72 years.
Carol was born in Rosetown, SK, where her journey began on April 1, 1952. Her early years in the prairies shaped her deep appreciation for family, hard work and the beauty of nature. She later moved to Calgary, AB, where she built a life filled with love, laughter and cherished friendships. In recent years, Carol made her home in Cochrane, a community she loved and where she felt a true sense of belonging.
Carol was known for her kind heart, unwavering strength, and warm smile that could brighten any room. She had a gift for making others feel special and loved, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of life - whether it was travelling, baking for her loved ones, or spending time with her family and friends.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Bronwyn (Jeff), her grandchildren, James, Joshua, Finnley and Brynn; her two sisters, Llyn (Ian) and Rhian (Gary); and nieces and nephews. Carol’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W., Calgary, AB) on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
