Obituary of Kathleen Ivy Barnett

January 13, 2025 – Calgary, Alberta

Kathleen Ivy Barnett (nee Avery) lived 88 spectacular years, passing away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, January 13, 2025, in Calgary, AB.

Kathleen is survived by the love of her life, William Barnett, and her six children, Mick, Karen, Bill, Wendy, Rob, and Penny. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

Kathleen Enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including camping, fishing, travelling, and family get-togethers, but most of all, she enjoyed and lived to take care of her husband and her six children.

During her entire life, she was greatly loved, and in return, she loved greatly.

Now, as she resides in heaven, she continues to do what she did her entire life; looking down and watching out for her family.

She is forever in our hearts.
