Condolences
Rest easy Uncle Rob. I’ll miss your kind eyes & gentle heart. For years I couldn’t sort out when you were serious & when you were joking. Turns out you were usually joking. Thanks for so many great memories.
We are sadly going to miss the service Saturday but although we never got to know Rob well whenever we met the conversation came easily. The McDonald clan have always been so good to their Aunt Muriel that our whole family feel extra sadness for their grief today.
Hold firm to the good memories.
Neil and Donna Pennycook
Rob, Don and I enjoyed your visit to Edinburgh also meeting you in Thurso to go and visit your ancestors grave where you scattered some of your dad's ashes. Domhnall ,Jackie and Alistair enjoyed visiting you in your home and Alistair really enjoyed your jokes. You were a gentle giant and cared very deeply about your family. Now you can get together with your parents, brother and Don. RIP Evelyn.
Rob, though our time together was brief, I am deeply grateful for the chance to have known you. You were a truly wonderful person, always speaking with such warmth and pride about your family. Your love for your grandchildren was evident in every story you shared, and it was a joy to listen to you talk about them.
Your kindness, your laughter, and your caring heart will be dearly missed. I will always cherish the moments we had, however short they may have been. Rest in peace, Rob—you will always be remembered with love.
Sam
