Condolences
Wednesday 16 th July 2014 ..Norman and I were on holiday when we heard the news of the passing of a very dear friend…Agnes. As I think of your mum Agnes it is with many happy memories. The word BEAUTIFUL comes to mind …your mum was a very beautiful looking woman but even more important was her beautiful heart nice personality. I can still smell her baking apple tarts lemon meringue and buns I loved that smell on a Tuesday when I arrived home from school. We as a family had so many happy times with your mum and dad they were like family..One of my lasting memories was when I started to go with Norman and my mum wasn’t too sure I remember your mum saying .. Margaret if Mary wants Norman then let Mary have Norman!! On our wedding day we laughed with her about that. A life well lived and God spared her a long one too. We will remember you all in our prayers and want you to know that mum and all our family pass their sympathy to you at this time. A few words ..Asleep with the other Angels Goodbyes are not forever, Goodbyes are not the end, They simply mean we will miss you, Until we meet again. Absent from the body, present with The Lord. Mary and Norman McMullan Carnlough. X
So sorry to learn of your mum’s death this morning.
I remember her well as we were growing up in Upper Princes Street and I remember your granny too with fond memories.
Margaret Hill (Steele) told me this morning when I rang her from Australia.
I have been living in Australia since 1955 but I have so many memories of Princes Street
Once again I would like to send you my condolences
Margaret Ramsey (32 Upper Princes Street)
Just read of the death of Mrs A Gray in our local paper Ballymena Guardian.
A lovely lady a ready smile for all, I will remember her the last time I saw her on Princes St. Only realizing how long ago that was, lovely for the family she was in Canada with them.
My condolences and prayers to the family.
A great lady who loved life and others. She had a great sense of humor. Thoughts and prayers
Agnes, Fred and Family: So sorry to hear of the passing of Agnes; she lived a long life and I know she was proud of all her family – her legacy. You provided happy memories of family events she was here to celebrate and be part of.
We should be prepared for the death of an elder parent, but we often are not as prepared as we thought. Agnes Gray will be missed, as she was well loved. My condolences, and love and prayers to you.
