Obituary of George William STEPHENSON

1922 – 2014 George Jr. and Janis announce their dad’s final curtain call on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 after missing his loving and beautiful wife, Esther, who passed June 24, 2005 – it was meant to be. Dad was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind his son George Jr. (Miriam); daughter Janis; grandchildren Dayna, Montgomery and George; and dog Cody. “What a wonderful world” filled with more love, passion, and experiences than most could only have dreamed of. We all will remember him from his ability to make people laugh with his contagious smile. George entertained in over 6,000 shows as a singer, guitar and piano player, comedian, and master of ceremony, just to name a few. A special thanks to the Carewest Colonel Belcher staff for all their support and care to dad in his last few years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Vet Angels (available at the service).
