Obituary of Sara BER

1923 – 2014 Sara Ber, of blessed memory, beloved wife of the late Michael Ber of Montreal, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Monday, June 16, 2014 at the age of 91. She was the loving mother of Abraham (Riva) and was predeceased by her son Seymour and her sister Rachel. Sara is survived by her loving grandchildren Aliza (Paul), Dahlia (Kevin) and Jeffrey, and great-grandchildren Ben, Sonia, Sophie, Max and Mila, as well as nephews Larry and Phil, and niece Felice. Buby Sala was born in Poland in 1923 and was one of the few survivors of a large family that perished in the Holocaust. Our Buby Sala went on to lead her life as a proud, strong, loving woman who cherished family above all. She will be forever missed. Funeral Services will be held at the House of Jacob Mikveh Israel (1613 – 92 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB ) Today, Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Erlton Street Cemetery (Erlton St. & 30 Ave. S.W.)
