Obituary of Michael Henry WARDELL

Michael Henry Wardell of Calgary passed away peacefully on the morning of May 31, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Michael was born in Wolverhampton, UK on Jan. 23, 1946. Michael moved to Canada in 1967. He enjoyed rock climbing, backpacking, darts, bowling, hiking, golf, trains and most of all his family. Michael is survived by his loving wife Carol, daughter Jennifer and her husband Fabio; and grandson Logan. He is also survived by three sisters: Carol, Deidre and Tina. Michael was predeceased by his parents Tom and Sheila. In lieu of flowers family is requesting that donations be made out to the Agape Hospice in Calgary (www.agapehospice.ca).
