He was known both professionally and personally as “Red”. Red was an amazing business person, husband, brother-in-law, uncle and friend – always professional, always gentle and a source of inspiration to all those who knew him. His naval academy friends and his business associates valued his knowledge and skill in “closing the deal” and those friendships continued throughout Red’s lifetime. Red was an avid skier and he enjoyed many a weekend with his wife Alyce skiing the slopes in Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec, USA and Europe. Red and his wife Alyce enjoyed traveling, hiking, biking, the arts and the camaraderie of his family and friends, to whom he was a host like none other. He always knew somebody wherever he went. He spent his younger years in the Navy riding the seas and skies. Red was a pilot, flying off and onto destroyers. He loved challenges. Red is survived by his loving wife Alyce, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, nephews, nieces and several great-nieces.
