Obituary of Alvin David Denty SHINGOOSE

October 13, 1940 – Kamsack, Saskatchewan May 4, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta Denty Shingoose, “Buffalo Bear Man,” of Calgary, completed his earthly journey on Mother Earth on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Denty is survived by his children, Dean (Dianne), Kim (Nora), David (Margery), David, Paula (Pat), and Jennifer; as well as sixteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Denty was predeceased by his wife Noretta in 1997; his daughter Mary Ann in 1962; as well as his son Mitchell in 2008. Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) today, Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
