Condolences
Just heard of Walter’s death. I haven’t seen him in more years than I can remember. He worked for my dad on a farm in Leamington when I was about 7. I spent a bit of time with him, he had gotten sick and was waiting for a ride home. I talked with him for a bit, and after that only saw him at weddings etc. Still he was part of our family, my mothers cousin, I knew his younger siblings quite a bit more, and I feel a sense of loss at the news of his death. I’d like to offer my condolences to his family. Henry and Sandy Dyck
It was a terrible shock to see that Walt has passed away. I was fortunate to have worked with him at the Canadian Superior merger and for many years afterwards at Mobil. While he was always the “royalty guru ” to me, it was his dedication, his willingness to share that knowledge at any time, and his unassuming manner that left a lasting impression on me. After he retired, the royalty group was never quite the same. I know though, as I neared my retirement in the royalty group, I tried to pattern myself on how he would have approached things.
I’ll sure miss his laugh and watching him turn red.
My sincere condolences to all of your family.
