Obituary of Deborah Debi Marie ZACHARIAS

August 25, 1956 – Regina, Saskatchewan April 5, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta Debi beloved wife of Ken Zacharias of Calgary, AB, passed away on April 5, 2014 at the age of 57 years, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Although too short, Debi lived life to the fullest. She spent 40 wonderful years with her husband Ken. They raised their three children in Saskatoon, SK before moving to Calgary, AB a few years ago. After retiring from a successful career as a Certified Management Accountant, Debi found a renewed passion for arts, including painting and photography, hiking, biking and traveling. She is survived by her husband Ken Zacharias; three children, Shanna Zacharias (Nolan Jansen), Craig (Talayna) Zacharias, and Kristen (Kyle) Gibson; her mother Yvonne Debelle (Philip Shaw); her three sisters, Marie Frey (Darren Vandesype), Susan (Robert) Bretescher, and Janet (Larry) Raiwet; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her father, Allan Frey, preceded her in death. A Private Celebration of Debi’s Life will be held. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
