My heart is with you all today as you farewell Colleen today. I wish I could be there, and am sending lots of love and hugs from New Zealand. May you all be strengthened, upheld and comforted by God’s love at such a sad time. I will always hold Colleen close in memory.
I am honored to have been able to meet and get to know you Colleen. I will forever remember your trip down to Hermosa Beach. You were to good to stay here and God wanted you back. Dear Dorothy and family, it was with great sadness that we heard of Colleen’s passing. She was a courageous lady dealing with her illness. We as a family will remember the good times when we went hiking and Green Lake. Nola and Erin also have great memories of them together. We will be thinking of you and her today and wish you peace on this difficult day. Her legacy will live on in her daughter Maya and husband Tylor . We wish we could be there with all of you, but weather conditions do not permit us to be there, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Please accept my deepest sympathy. Colleen’s passing is a great loss, most of all to her family, and also to her friends, colleagues and community she served. Working with her I could see her passion for life, her love of family, her tremendous energy to tackle her dreams, and always, her very kind heart. She is an example of how to live every day with positivity and enthusiasm. To her parents – you raised a wonderful, giving, loving daughter who was a blessing to everyone she met. Tylor, Maya, and all of Colleen’s family I am so sorry for your loss. Colleen was a wonderful happy and caring person. I had the great honor in meeting her and working along side with her at PSC. She made me laugh on a daily basis. Her outlook on life and strength in her fight has made me want to be a better person. I can’t imagine what you are going through but I want you to know she was loved and touched so many people in her journey through life. I wish I could be there with everyone today to celebrate Colleen’s life but the weather has left me no other choice but to stay put at home. Colleen you will be missed we will meet again someday.
I did not know Colleen but I went to school with her mom and dad [a few] years ago back in Vernon. I am also at a loss for words on what to say to them at this moment…my deepest sympathy . [Alec, I’ll be in touch….]
My deepest condolences to Colleen’s family. I worked with Colleen and I always enjoyed our little chats between calls. She showed all of us what a mother’s love can do. Dear Families of Colleen, It is with sadness that we read about the ravages of cancers in our young people–they are so brave, and their families with them. Even though the cancer has physically appeared stronger than the person, the cancer cannot conquer all–the tenacity and spirits of those affected are so much stronger; the bond of LOVE, the beautiful remembrances, the innocense of babes, and God’s comforting arms will override all.
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family at this incredibly difficult time. I only met Colleen once with your mom but her love for Maya sparkled through. Again, we are so so sorry for your loss.
Colleen, you will be deeply missed. You have left and will be remembered as a great example for your daughter. I have no doubt that you will continue watching and smiling at us from above. It was great knowing you and you will continue being in my thoughts and prayers! xox
