BOOTHBY, Dorothy Lillian June 17, 1929 – Cochrane, AB February 23, 2014 – Cochrane, AB Dorothy beloved wife of the late Bill Boothby of Cochrane, AB, passed away on February 23, 2014 at the age of 84 years. Dorothy was born on June 17, 1929 in Cochrane, AB and lived her whole life there. She was a member of Cochrane Curling Club for many years and volunteered for all sporting events. She was a huge Cochrane Generals Junior Hockey fan. Dorothy worked at the Bow Valley Credit Union for 20 years. She was dedicated to her family; after raising her family she took on jobs to get out and be with people. Her biggest passion in life were her three children and her grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Mark (Della), Laurie (Thelma) and Dana (Melanie); her grandchildren, Celina, Julien, Tanner (Sabrina), Riley, and Reed; her sister, Audrey Brown; brother-in-law, Bruce Boothby; nieces and nephews, Dawn, Janet, Reed and Craig Brown and Susan (David) Hall and Joan Boothby. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill (G.W); brother-in-law, Don (D.E. Brown) and sister-in-law, Dorothy Boothby.
