Obituary of Margaret Lilian CARRUTHERS

CARRUTHERS, Margaret Lilian (nee Williams) October 31, 1923 –Montreal, Quebec February 19, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta Just at the point of “enough is enough” Margie passed away at Scenic Acres Retirement Residence at the age of 90 years. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, and served Canada during WWII by joining the CWAC. She will be remembered as a fantastic Nannie by her six grandchildren Kelly, Shannon, Dawn, Peter-Paul, Caroline and Theo, and great grandchildren Molly, Lucy and will be missed by her daughter Carol, son Garry, niece Audrey brother Allen and long time best friends Sue and Edie. She was predeceased by her husband James Carruthers, her sisters Evelyn and Viola and her brother Don. A Celebration of Margie’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through .
