Obituary of Francesco GOLEMME

January 3, 1946 – Mongrassano, Italy February 15, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta Francesco Golemme, age 68, was born in Mongrassano Scalo, Italy on January 3, 1946 and peacefully passed away February 15th, 2014 at the Foothills hospital due to health complications. Francesco moved to Canada at the age of 19 years and married Natalina at the age of 21. He always strived for excellence and achieved this as a tile setter and started his own business in 1981 Active Marble & Tile Ltd. which is known today as Graniteworx. He was an inspiration to all his family and friends for his integrity, loyalty and his down to earth nature. He also leaves behind a sister, Ada Caparelli (Umberto) and two brothers, Anselmo Golemme (Elizabeth) and Savino Golemme (Clara). He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Natalina Golemme of 46 years and his sons Albino (Michelle), Marcello (Cindy), and Domenic (Shannon) and his seven grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive N.W.) on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 10 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
