Jean Clay, beloved partner, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2014.
A native Calgarian, Jean started her career in the oil industry, and transitioned into a long and fulfilling career as a care giver. Her passions included reading, music and a keen interest in history. Jean and Tom shared a love of travel, taking opportunities to explore the world. Jean was a faithful member of Grace Presbyterian Church.
Jean will be lovingly remembered by her partner Tom Rockburne; mother Margaret; brother John (Veronica); nieces, Angela Townsend (Blaine and Ava), Christina and Michelle Clay; and many dear friends. Jean was predeceased by her father Donald Clay.
Ever Remembered, Forever Loved
A Memorial Service to honour the memory of Jean will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church (1009 – 15th Avenue S.W.) on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held in the family plot at Union Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. A special thanks to her caregivers at the Fanning Centre and Foothills Medical Centre.
