Obituary of Jacqueline Babbette HEATON

1926 – Liverpool, England 2014 – Calgary, Alberta Jacqueline Heaton was born on February 5, 1926 in Liverpool England, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the South Health Campus in Calgary AB at the age of 88 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sally Ann MacArthur (Brian); grandsons, Kevin and Christopher; son, Andrew Heaton (Susanne); niece, Donna McAllister; great nieces and nephews, Patrick McAllister (Wendy), Louise Crowder (Brian); and Andrew McAllister (Heidi); and numerous other family members from England, Scotland, Australia, and New Zealand. Jacqueline was proud to serve her country during WW II in the British Women’s Land Army. She immigrated to Canada in 1974 and lived in Winnipeg, Darlingford and Miami MB, Olds and Calgary AB. She had a passion for nature, the outdoors, gardening and travel. A small Memorial Service will be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church (1407 7th Avenue N.W. Calgary, AB) on Sunday, February 9, 2014.
