Obituary of Alexander Alex James SIEBEN

1937– Calgary, AB 2014– Nanton, AB Alexander “Alex” James Sieben beloved husband of Sylvia Sieben of Nanton, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the age of 76 years. Alex was an entrepreneur, businessman, and founder of Sieben Metal Industries Ltd. in Nanton. He had a love of dogs and was a member of Stavely Oddfellows. Everyone whoever met Alex will remember him for his passion, perseverance, heart and soul for better things, good stories and escapades beyond belief. Alex will be sadly missed by family and friends. Besides his loving wife Sylvia, Alex is survived by daughters Carol Sieben and Lori Kuervers (Glenn); son Ivan Sieben; sisters Bernice Lambert, Teresa Lindholm (Barney) and Mary Smith; brother John Sieben (Claire); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and good friend Jack McCarty.
