Obituary of Muriel Bonnie Elizabeth HUBERT

February 12, 1946 – January 24, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie Hubert (nee Wright) on Friday, January 24, 2014, at the age of 67, after a courageous battle with cancer over the last 7 years. Bonnie was born in Winnipeg Manitoba where she grew up just down the street from her future husband. She married John and moved to Calgary in 1966 where they settled, worked and raised a family. Bonnie’s passion was her family and she enjoyed doing anything that involved them. Her husband, children and grandchildren were the treasures of her life. She loved traveling, scrapbooking, golfing and spending time at her cabin in Invermere, BC. Her passing will leave us with a sense of emptiness but her positive nature and love of life will live on in our hearts forever. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by the “Love of her Life” and “Best Friend” John, whom she was happily married to for 47 years; her daughters, Gwen (Paul) MacLaren and Cheryl (Kevin) Harvey; grandchildren, Justin, Josie, Brooklyn and Hunter as well as numerous extended relatives and friends whom she loved and cared dearly for. In keeping with Bonnie’s wishes, funeral services will not be held. A Family Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Bonnie, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
