I went to school with Jody in FSJ and am deeply honored to have been able to call her a friend. I’m sure Shirley and Reg were wondering when are these girls ever going to go home. The awesome thing is your family always made us feel like we’re at home. To the many late nights learning the Ice Ice Baby and NKOTB dance moves, eating blakeforest ham subs, jumping on the trampoline, school dances, note passing between classes, first crushes and boyfriends, sleepovers or talking on the phone. Jody you were a fundamental part of my childhood and helping me be a great person as well. You always had a smile or a wise piece of advise even at an early age. I will forever think of you when I hear the song , You are my sunshine. Love you and miss you and my deepest sympathy to your family and loved ones, cheers my friend till we meet again! Xxxooo

Such a huge loss to everyone who knew Jody. You brought such light, love and laughter to every one you met. I will always remember the laughter and hilarities at ‘the house’, Billy’s, your place, our chats, and so many other memories that I will cherish forever. I have never met anyone who was a loving and genuine as you. You are a rare soul and you were taken away from us far too soon.
My thoughts are with your family, Nate and his family and all of your friends who will miss you dearly. Rest peacefully and watch over us Jody. Much love.
Our sincerest condolences in the loss of Jody go out to all her family and friends. As a neighbour, I watched Jody grow on a daily basis to a lovely young woman. She was just five years old when I first met her and she and sister Kelly were playing in our front yard while Reg worked on his truck. How very hard to say good-bye, but safe journeys, Jody.
Dear Jody,
Like everyone else, I am shocked and deeply sadden at your passing. Words cannot truly express…
We hadn’t been in touch since we moved to Arizona over a year ago and I truly wish that could be changed. From the early beginnings of our friendship (1998) in the “good ole days” of The House, the group trips (Especially to the Bahamas), and continuing as we matured into the “adults” we are today. I had the opportunity to work with you when we held functions at Hotel Arts and you were always so willing to help out. You were always so easy going, fun to be around, had a great sense of humour, and a smile that was so contagious. I will miss you.
I was looking at some photos of you and Shawna at my 39th birthday party… so radiant!
To Nate, Shirley, Reg, and Kelly,
There are no words that I can say that will take away the pain that you must be feeling. I can only sympathize and offer, that in this short time Jody was with us, she touch so many people in such a positive way, we are all truly blessed for having the opportunity to have known her and loved her.
Paul.

I just recently enjoyed reconnecting with Jody with the Hilton team, and have enjoyed many wonderful and delightful conversations with her. Her passion for her job, for life; her engery and enthusiasm was catching and she delighted me with our chats.
Jody- you are gone too soon -taken from us leaving us wondering why and questioning God’s decisions. I can only pray that his reasoning was justified and that he has taken you to a peaceful place filled wth love.
We will miss you Jody Rest in Peace.
