I just learned of the very sad news of Elsie’s passing. I met Elsie soon after I moved to Calgary in the early 80’s through a mutual friend. She was kind enough to invite me to share her home as a roommate, and we spent many happy hours together talking, laughing and eating her wonderful cooking. My sincere condolences to the family and friends who helped her through this journey. I am very fortunate to have met with loving and caring person.

Elsie, you were the best boss we have EVER dealt with. You became more than a boss to Jim over the 9 years you worked together. You were our friend, our son LOVED you. We will remember you with gratitude and smiles. Even when we moved away, though you were sad to see us go, you supported us 100%. You get those guys in line up there ok? We will remember you with love.

I will miss you Elsie. You are gone far too soon.

Your old family at AMJ Campbell is saddened by your loss. Elsie broke the mould for women in the relocation business in Calgary in the 70’s. We will miss her competitive spirit.

Elsie, you leave your heart with so many who’s lives you have blessed. Your warm smile, infectious laugh and give of positivity are your legacy! No matter what life threw at you, you held your head high and worked on a positive twist to every scenario. Elsie was my “first boss” when I was an 18 year old just starting her first job at AMJ Campbell Van Lines. She was wonderful, made me feel so welcome. She was a great lady and will be missed by many.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Elsie. I was honoured to have worked with her for over twenty years. She always had a smile and a great sense of humour. She always had a special way with our kids and now as adults they remember her fondly. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am so saddened to hear of Elsie’s passing. We shared so many laughs, a bright light has left us.
