Obituary of Dora GIBSON

Gibson, Dora (nee Misura) August 8, 1934 – Exshaw, AB December 25, 2013 – Calgary, AB “Family means no one gets left behind or forgotten…” Dora passed away peacefully with her loving husband Alexander (Sandy) by her side. In addition to her husband Sandy, she is survived by her children Cindy (Win Robertson) of Williams Lake, BC, Patti (Stuart Proctor), Michele, and Don (Colleen) all of Calgary, her brothers John and Harry, her sister Olga, and her pride and joy, seven grandchildren: Elliot, Emily, Victoria, Aidan, Sarah, Heather and Dylan. Dora and Sandy met in Exshaw and married and raised their family in Calgary. She had a career with the Calgary Board of Education as a library assistant before retiring at age 60. The family wishes to thank the staff of Unit 73, Rockyview Hospital and Southwood Hospice for making Dora’s remaining days as comfortable as possible. At Dora’s request, no service will be held.
