Obituary of Agnes Elizabeth HARDER

September 14, 1946 – Coaldale, Alberta June 3, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta Agnes Elizabeth of Calgary passed away at home in her sleep on Sunday June 3, 2018 at the age of 71 years. Aggie will be sorely missed. She was born in Coaldale, Alberta on September 14, 1946. Her parents married just after WWII, so she was a true baby boomer. Agnes will be remembered as a kind, good hearted person. She worked in Calgary first as a Medical Laboratory Technician in Bowness, and for many years as a caregiver helping disabled children in group homes. She liked playing computer games, and had many computers over the years. Her open hearted and infectious laughter when playing board games will be fondly remembered. Agnes had many friends over the years with whom she loved talking on the phone. She was a spiritual person who was known for her openness. We will miss you Aggie. Aggie is survived by her brother Ted (Stefanie) of Calgary, the last surviving immediate family member and four nieces and one nephew. Aggie was predeceased by her parents Peter and Helen (nee Friesen) Harder; her second mom Katie Seidel; and her sisters Frieda Hunt and Ann Soenen. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
