Obituary of Howard Ralph HOMAN

Howie, beloved husband of Jeanette Homan (nee Hubbard) of Calgary, AB, passed away on December 14, 2013 at the age of 72 years.
Howie was born in Killam, AB on July 29, 1941 to Howard and Grace Homan. He primarily worked for TD Bank and in Real Estate. In recent years he was a shuttle driver for CMP, which he enjoyed immensely. He was an avid sports fan who loved golf, hockey, baseball and bowling. Most recently Howie was a member of the bowling team “Beer Buds”. Howie cherished his family, with a special love for his grandchildren.
Howie is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette; his daughter Linnet Schumaker and her children Matthew and Rebecca of Calgary, AB; his son, Howie and wife Tracy and their children, Megan, Mason and Madison of Sussex, NB; and his sisters, Dona Spinks and Valerie Gratton of Edmonton, AB. He was predeceased by his beloved infant son, James; his parents, Howard and Grace Homan; brother-in-law, Don; sister-in-law, Georgina and son-in-law, Wade.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Howie’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. A special thank you to the Intensive Palliative Care unit #47 at the Tom Baker Cancer Center for their professional and compassionate care. A special thank you to Rev.
