Obituary of LaVerne Ada KERR

KERR, LaVerne Ada (nee Hirsch) October 16, 1935 – Camrose, AB December 6, 2013 – Calgary, AB LaVerne Kerr was called to her eternal home at the age of 78 years. She passed away peacefully the afternoon of Friday, December 6, 2013 with her family by her side. LaVerne was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed. LaVerne lived her life dedicated to her Lord and Saviour; she was a long time member of Women’s Aglow and Christian Women’s club. LaVerne will be remembered by her six children, Rick (Debbie), Robin (Brenda), Sherry, Kim (Patricia), Kelly (Louise), Sandra (Milos); and nine grandchildren Ryan, Terin (Emily), Jeanelle (Mark), Vanessa (Darren), Justin, Emily, Amanda, Madyson and Charlie. Also cherishing the remembrances of LaVerne is her brother Samuel Douglas (Carolyn) Hirsch and her sister Charlotte Hirsch, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. LaVerne was predeceased by her loving husband Albert Stewart Kerr on Thursday, June 2, 2011. A Celebration of LaVerne’s Life will be held at the Airdrie Alliance Church (1604 Summerfield Boulevard Airdrie, AB) on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Airdrie’s Cemetery.
