Obituary of Brian Stanley LANGTON

July 27, 1928 – Derbyshire, England November 13, 2013 – Calgary, Alberta Brian, loving husband of Sylvia, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the age of 85, as a result of lung cancer and Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Brian was the proud father of Ruth, Kim (Al) and Sally (Dwayne) and Grandpa to Robert (Heather), Brian (Katelynn), Johnathon (Kate), Stephen and Sarah. Brian also leaves behind his brother Roger (Stella) and their family, and relatives in England. Special thanks to Fedeles for her care and love over many years. Also to Carla with the Palliative Care Team who made Brian’s life as comfortable as possible while he was at home. He will be missed but he is now at peace. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 2p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Children’s Cottage at http://childrenscottage.ab.ca/ or to the Veteran’s Food Bank at http://calgarypoppyfund.com/.
