Obituary of Emil Albert ROLL

ROLL, Emil Albert October 18, 1925 – Irvine, Alberta October 29, 2013 – Calgary, Alberta Emil Roll, born in Irvine, AB, beloved husband of Mary Roll passed away on October 29, 2013 at the age of 88 years. Emil shared 67 wonderful years with Mary. They met in Medicine Hat, AB and married on July 13, 1946. He grew up on a farm in Irvine and served in WWII in the Navy in Newfoundland. He is survived by his loving and life partner Mary; his two sons, Doug Roll (Christina) of Calgary, AB. Garry Roll (Leslie) of Palm Springs, CA and daughter Shirley Roll of Toronto, ON; his four grandchildren Barbara Thompson, David Roll, Jeremy Roll and Kimberlee Martin; and six great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of care givers at Carewest Colonel Belcher Long Term Care and the Chinook Long Term Care for the loving care that they provided.
