Uncle Willy whom I lovingly referred to was an exceptional man. I feel blessed having lived next door to such wonderful people as Aunt Joyce and Uncle Willy. He will have a special place in my heart forever. An elegant, brilliant and very kind man. I am so sad to hear of his passing but knowing that he is with his true love in the heavens where she can take care of him makes me feel better. My deepest condolences.
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Dr. A. W. [Willy]. He was a good geologist, fine man and patriot. I knew him when I was a student working for the Geological Survey of Canada.
I am very sorry for the loss of your dad/grandpa/uncle. He was a wonderful man and lived a long and successful life. I am glad that he died peacefully with Keith present. I saw him a week before he died and he smiled and laughed at me. I will remember him that way. Sincerely, Julia
