We are sorry to hear of the passing of David Weddell. It was not long ago I saw him at his mom’s memorial. We wish to offer our sincere condolence to Rob, Peter, Susan & all the Weddell Family. Our thoughts & prayers are with you at this time.
Sincerely, Richard & Bernice Hayhoe
I just returned from New York and am very sorry to have missed the Celebration of Dave’s Life. We were very close during our school years. Many fond memories we built together will always remain with me. The whole Weddell family was an important part of my growing up. I remember Pete and Rob well and Suzy was just a little girl. That big old house on Waskasoo Crescent was always a meeting place for Dave and his friends. He will be dearly missed by all of us. I am fortunate to have had him as a friend.

My sincerest condolences to the Weddell family. Andrew and Nancy, Your dad was a wonderful man and always so kind. I will remember him fondly. It was a lovely service today- I’m sorry I missed your talk and slide show Andrew. I had to leave early. My parents said it was great. I’m very sorry for your loss.
Our sincerest sympathy to the Weddell Family at this very sad time.
We know so well the closeness of your family ties that you so willingly share with others, and how heart-brreaking the loss of your loved ones are to you. David is now with Jean and John and we can just imagine the joyful reunion they are having. Our love to you all,
Yvette & Dave
To the Weddell Family,

To the Wedell Family my deepest sympathy. I knew David all of his 70 years: From taking the ‘short cut’ through Waskasso Creek at lunch hour, skipping school, snow ball fights, our first beers out of the Doc’s stone cellar in the cottage at Sylvan, to many memorable rounds of golf together.
David always had a smile, a laugh and a very, very bright mind; ready with a quip, most often dry but always ‘on the money’.
He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Brian
