Obituary of Yvonne Doreen BEATTY

1933 – Calgary, AB 2013 – Calgary, AB Yvonne, beloved wife, mother and grandmother of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Yvonne was born on March 13, 1933 where she lived and grew up in the community of Bridgeland. She married Clifford Cecil Beatty on June 27, 1953. They were long time members of the Foothills United Church since 1962 and enjoyed volunteering for the church. In her younger years, she loved dancing and skating. Her biggest passion in life was her family, especially her children and later her grandchildren. Yvonne is survived by her loving husband, Cecil; her children Wayne (Vicki), Russell (Sue), Dwight (Pam) and Elaine; her four grandchildren Garrett, Andrea, Travis and Wyatt. Yvonne was predeceased by her two brothers Robert and Gary Peltier. A Celebration of Yvonne’s Life will be held at Foothills United Church (3803 – 69th Street N.W.) on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Unit 94 and 91 at the Foothills Hospital.
