JOVE, Eduvijes (nee Pimentero) November 4, 1928 – Buguey, Philippines October 6, 2013 – Calgary, AB Eduvijes Joves passed away peacefully at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the age of 84 years. Eduvijes was born November 4, 1928 in Buguey, Cagayan, Philippines, to parents Gavina and Venancio Pimentero. Eduvijes moved to Canada with her family in 1980. Eduvijes will be remembered by her brothers; sisters; ten children; twenty-nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her unconditional love, her homemade dishes, sewing, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her beloved family. Eduvijes is survived by her children Jessie (Del), Johnny and Children, Linda (Boyet) Medina and family, Renato (Beth) and son, Ruby (Boy) Espera and family, Esperlita (Danny) Vister and family, Elma (Victor) Marcos and family, Jean (Leith) Paull and family Evelyn (Ted) Carrera and family, Roger (Daisy) and sons and Virgie and family; her two brothers Rey and Seminiano Pimentero; her two sisters Belen Cajas and Magdelena Base. Eduvijes was predeceased by her loving husband Federico Jove; her parents Gavina and Venancio Pimentero; her brothers Elpidio, Alfredo, Eufemio, Libertino and Jaime Pimentero; her sisters Emerenciana Cortez and Sister Marietta de Jesus. “The family would like to extend a special thank you and blessing to the 3rd floor east nurses and staff at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre for the exceptional care and dedication given to our beloved Eduvijes Jove”. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1525 45th Street S.E.) on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
