Obituary of Ruth Angela MOMBOUQUETTE

December 26, 1935 – October 1, 2019

The family of Ruth Mombouquette are saddened to announce her passing on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the age of 83 years.

Ruth was born in Winnipeg, MB to Lillian and Herb Wormworth. Later moving to Calgary, AB where she married Kenneth McReynolds in her early 20’s, they had three children. Ruth was a member of the Hudson Bay Choir for many years while she worked in the Bay’s ladies department in downtown Calgary. She later re-married to Mo Mombouquette and her family instantly grew to seven girls. She was fond of going to the lake, ice skating and most of all live music that she could sing along to. She will be remembered for her delicious baking, her God given talent to draw and paint. Ruth loved her family and was happiest decorating the Christmas tree, or sharing a bowl of popcorn with her grandchildren. She enjoyed any chance to be in a warm climate, sun tanning late into her 70’s. All who knew her will miss her thoughtfulness, kindness, loving spirt and beautiful smile.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Kathy, Cheryl, Patty, Debra Anne, June, Sheila and Fran; her sons-in-law, Faron, Barry, Wayne, Rob and Joe; and her grandchildren, Andrea, Robbie, Terry, Breanna, Branden, Pamela, Sydney, Hailey, Chloe.
