Condolences
I miss you Gerry. Your wisdom was my gain and I still have questions.
We are so sorry to hear that Gerry has passed away. We know how hard this must be and hope you will find some strength in the fact that Gerry was thought of so highly by so many people. Our heartfelt condolences.
Gwynn, so sorry to hear the news about Gerry. The last time I saw him was when I was contemplating a trip to Petra and there was an exhibit at the Glenbow, just after I retired. He kindly took me around it before the formal opening which was much appreciated. I never made it to Petra except in my imagination!
Gerry was fun to be around and I always enjoyed talking to him when he came to the Department.
My best wishes
Lesley

My sincere condolences to the Conaty family. I met Gerry in 1976 as part of a three-man team on an archaeological excavation at a remote northern Alberta lake. In 1977, I again had the pleasure of working with Gerry along the proposed Mackenzie Valley Pipeline corridor. My memories are of Gerry’s kindness and generosity towards everyone around him. He was a patient and gentle person with a wonderful sense of humour.
Dear Gwyn:
I was sad to hear that Gerry had passed away. He was always so much fun when he was at SFU. He was my ever-patient square dance partner; never too busy to go along with me when I asked. My heartfelt condolence goes to you and your son.
With love,
Ingrid
