Obituary of Patricia Anne HILLER

May 25, 1931- Sarnia, ON September 5, 2013 – Calgary, AB Patricia Hiller, beloved wife of sixty-four years, of Lawrence Hiller of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the age of 82 years. Pat was born and raised in Sarnia, ON before moving to St. Catharines as a teenager. This is where she met the love of her life, Lawrence. They were married July 25, 1949 in Courtright, ON and soon after moved back to St. Catharines where they raised their three children before moving to Calgary in 1985. She and Lawrence loved to square dance and travel and were especially proud to have danced at the Opening Ceremonies of the 1988 Olympics. Pat was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to quilt and her family will always treasure the quilts she made for them. Besides her loving husband Lawrence, Pat is also survived by her children, Gladys Marks, Anne & Doug Blair, and Marilyn & Brian Carter; grandchildren, Tammy (Terry), Larry (Rosa), Shane, and Barbara; and great-grandchildren, Carolyn, Grayson, Phillip and Aaron. She is also survived by her sisters, Donna and Betty; and brother Robert as well as a large extended family. A Memorial Service celebrating Pat’s life will be held at Renfrew United Church (956 Radnor Avenue N.E.) on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
