Obituary of Antonio Carmen RAHO

September 15, 1926- Ruffano, Italy August 25, 2013 – Calgary, Alberta It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antonio Raho, beloved husband of Bruna, on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Antonio immigrated to Canada from Ruffano, Italy in 1951, followed by his wife Bruna in 1952. He lived life to the fullest, enjoying bocce, bowling, gardening, and walking through Nosehill Park. Antonio leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Bruna; sons Claudio (Rosa), Walter, and Luciano (Frances); grandchildren Anthony, Christina, Jason, Antonio, Michael, Nicole, Amanda, and Adrianna; brother Salvatore (Anna) of Ruffano, Italy; brother-in-law Angelo (Antonietta); sister-in-laws Angela and Pasqua Ribecco of Calgary; along with numerous nieces and nephews in Calgary and Italy. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish (1714-14th Avenue N.E.) on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery.
