Obituary of Karlo BAKARICH

1926 – Klijevci, Croatia 2013 – Calgary, Alberta Karlo, our beloved father, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Born in Croatia, Karlo immigrated to Canada in 1960 where he worked as a mason and a carpenter. He enjoyed his work and was a master at his craft; working well into his early seventies. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Karlo is lovingly remembered and survived by the mother of his children, Katica Bakarich; daughters, Libuska (Stevo), Judith (James) and Anita; sons Darko and Gordon (Tina); grandchildren Johnny, Lindsay, Katelyn, Cody, Michelle, Scott, Megan, Kirsten, Kacey, Brayden, Nikolina and Zvjezdan,; and great grandchildren Enzo and Alexis. Karlo was predeceased by his daughter Zeljka; His family would especially like to thank the caregivers at The Beverly Centre Lake Midnapore. They were always patient, always kind and our hearts were touched by how much they cared.
