Obituary of LITTLE LIGHT

LITTLE LIGHT, Dean January 6, 1958 – Siksika, AB July 31, 2013 – Calgary, AB Dean Little Light peacefully went home to our lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the age of 55 years after a short illness. Dean had many talents. He participated with the Fancy Dance, loved baseball, hockey, rodeo and worked for Public Works. Dean is survived by his sons Al Duran, Terrance, Lariz and Albie; brother Rick Lightening, sisters Wendy, Anabelle, Millie and Grace Little Light, as well as 13 grandchildren. Dean was predeceased by his daughter Aldelia Takes Enemy; and his parents Arthur and Nellie Little Light; brother Sonny Little Light; sisters Velma RR and Sadie Hall, aunties Alfreda Bear Hat, Della Reed and Velma Spotted Eagle; and uncle Francis Little Light. Wake service will be held at the Siksika Community Centre on Monday August 5, 2013 at 5:00pm. Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Siksika Community Centre on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Paul Little Walker Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB).
