Obituary of Francine Jeannine Rosanna Marie STRATTON

1943 – Granby, QC 2013 – Calgary, AB Francine beloved wife of Dan Stratton of Calgary, AB, passed away on July 30, 2013 at the age of 70 years. Francine was born in Granby, QC on May 30, 1943. She moved to Calgary in 1971. She and Dan married on September 16, 1995. Francine worked as an Accountant for the Oil and Gas Industry for many years; while also delivering meals for Meals on Wheels for 18 years. She traveled extensively with Dan to Europe, South America and Eastern Canada. She had a love of the water and enjoyed water skiing and boating on Schuswap Lake. She was challenged with cancer since 1965 but refused to give up. She loved her dogs, and never went with out one. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Francine is survived by her husband Dan; son Giovanni and his wife Erin (nee Loewen) and their children Julianna, Oscar, Oliver and Elizabeth, all of Calgary, AB. She was predeceased by her birth mother Jeanne Lamoureux of Montreal, QC; father Roger Proulx of Granby, QC; and son Glen De Francesco of Calgary. A Gathering will be held at a later date.
