Obituary of Muriel May STEWART

STEWART, Muriel May (nee Thoburn) 1932 – Winnipeg, Manitoba 2013 – Calgary, Alberta Muriel Stewart of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Muriel was born and raised in Winnipeg. She married Buster on May 22, 1954. They resided in Winnipeg and Calgary, settling in Calgary in 1976. Muriel enjoyed playing cards, bowling, bingo, golf and spending winters in Arizona with friends from Winnipeg. Muriel also enjoyed travelling, especially her cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean. Muriel is survived by her sons John (Laura), Gary (Darlene) and Todd, daughter Gail (Georges) Tambay, seven grandchildren Lindsay, Shawn, Danielle, Scott, Monique (Jeff), Andrea (Devin) and Gabrielle, great granddaughter Ava and sister-in-law Colleen Williamson. She was predeceased by her husband Buster in 2002. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
