Condolences
Dear Mr. Howell, Rhonda, and Russell;
I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Howell’s passing. I apologize for taking so long to send this message, but we had some pressing family issues to deal with at the time, and I am only now getting to it. I remember Mrs. Howell from the time when your family lived on Burke Place, as being very good to us as children, lifeguarding while we swam and splashed in the backyard pool, coming to the house to play bridge with Mom, Mrs. Wyatt, Mrs.Stuckless, Mrs. Marshall, and Mrs.Titford, and always looking very smart and the height of fashion no matter what she was doing. I will always remember her very fondly.
As well, I want to thank you for the donation that your family made to Agnes Pratt Nursing home in my Mom’s (Ruby Taylor) memory. It was incredibly thoughtful of you and we will always remember it. It seems that even though it was a long time that we all lived on the same street, we still have fond and enduring memories of those early years. Take care. Dave, Janet, Dad and myself are thinking of you all. Sincerely, Linda
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time.
I was very fortunate that Eunice took a chance and hired me to work at Memorial over 26 years ago. I learned a great deal from her as my supervisor at Memorial. I was very lucky to have to her guidance and support. She was a very special lady and very good to me.
I will never forget her.
Cathy
Duncan and family. We were very saddened to read of Eunice’s passing. She was a beautiful person in every sense of the word. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May all of the wonderful memories you have help comfort you.
Dear Duncan, Rhonda and Russell
It was great sadness that I heard about the death of Eunice. She was a true friend to me when we both worked at Memorial University. My memories of her are forever in my heart and will always be cherished. She was such a kind and loving person, a wonderful mom who treasured her two children and loved Duncan so much. She made my days at Memorial so enjoyable and outside work we had great parties together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Duncan, Russell and Rhonda, our deepest sympathy at this time of sorrow. Cherish all the wonderful memories you have and may they comfort you during this difficult time.

Duncan and Family: We are so sorry to hear of Eunice’s passing. We will always think of her as a very generous and outgoing person. She had the wonderful ability to make everybody feel so welcome in your home. We had the privilege of sharing many good times with both of you here in St. John’s and also, on a couple of occasions, in Calgary. I still remember how good she was with our daughter, Elyse, when as a young girl, she travelled to Calgary with me. Although, the years have passed, the welcomed Christmas card always arrived every year.
We hope the memories of the wonderful life you shared together will help comfort you at this difficult time.
You are very much in our thoughts.
Gerry and Carolyn
On behalf of the Hennesseys, I extend our sympathy on the passing of your wife and Mom. We have fond memories of happy times shared on Burke Place. I will always remember the great fun we had in your swimming pool and Mrs. H giving treats to all the children. Mom and Dad also enjoyed many card games with Mr. and Mrs. H.
Duncan, Russell and Rhonda, so sorry to hear about Eunice. Madge and I send our deepest sympathy to you all. Eunice was a lovely lady and a great worker and I’m sure she has left you all with many wonderful memories to help you in this time of sorrow.
Harold & Madge
