Obituary of Vera MUNTAK

1908 – Kisrat, Hungary 2013 – Calgary, Alberta Vera Muntak of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the age of 104 years. Vera was born in Kisrat, Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1928 with her two sisters. After Vera and Paul were married, they farmed in the Delia area from 1946 until 1966 when they retired to Calgary. Vera is survived by her son and daughter-in law Paul and Shirley Muntak of Vernon, BC, daughter-in-law Karen Muntak of BC, six grandchildren Kim Makar, Darren Muntak, Brian Muntak, Ken Muntak, Lisa Postnikoff and Paul Muntak, eight great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Paul, in April, 1993, a son William, in December 1992 and a daughter Elizabeth in childhood. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
