Obituary of Jessie GRABOWSKI

August 11, 1920 – Daysland, AB July 7, 2013 – Calgary, AB Jessie, lovingly referred to as “Baba”, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2013 at the age of 92 years with her family by her side. Jessie, the daughter of Jessie and Bartholomew Staszko, was born on August 11, 1920 in the Daysland area, just outside of Camrose, AB. Jessie was the youngest of 12 siblings all of whom have predeceased her. She resided in Camrose throughout her younger years and eventually moved to Calgary where she met and married Frank Grabowski in June of 1948. Jessie leaves behind her son Bob (Gail) their son Andrew; her daughter Judy (Ian) Jarvis and their daughters Charity, Jessica and Katlyn and great-grandson Noah. A Celebration of Jessie’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
