Condolences
Mrs. Tyler was a grand and classy lady. As a friend of Joel’s I spent lots of time at the Tyler house back in the early seventies and always enjoyed her wacky sense of humour, her quick wit, her passion for music (Simon and Garfunkel), her beautiful singing, her love of family and her kindness. Having not seen Mr. and Mrs. Tyler for many years I dropped in unexpectedly on them a few years ago while in Calgary. I am so glad I did. After nearly 40 years they still remembered who I was and we fondly talked about old times. When I experienced a tragic loss in my family some time back, Mrs. Tyler sent me a card with a verse that will forever remain embedded in my memory: “I have never spoke with God, or visited in Heaven, yet certain am I of the spot, as if a chart were given.” Mrs. Tyler, God made a special chart for you a long time ago.
My sincere condolences to the family. Your dear loved one will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the Tyler family. Madeleine and I did not see much of Aunt June in recent years during her visit to Vancouver a few years ago. I remember her penchant for sending us jokes and her hospitality when we lived in Calgary. We know she will be missed by Tim and by her children and grandchildren.
Regards,

We will remember Auntie June as a woman who cared deeply for her family and many friends; her community; and especially her great sense of humour and infectious laugh. May your many wonderful memories help you through this difficult time.
