Obituary of Lily Olga GROVES

August 22, 1934 – Millet, AB June 15, 2013 – Calgary, AB Lily Groves, beloved wife of Lee Groves of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the age of 78 years. Lily was born and raised in Millet, AB. She married Lee on June 23, 1956 and had two children, Bill and Sylvia. After a number of years in Calgary, the family moved to a farm near Riviere Qui Barre, AB, returning to Calgary in 1980. Lily is survived by her husband Lee and daughter Sylvia Groves both of Calgary, AB; daughter-in-law Louise Groves of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Neil Groves (Ashley) of Calgary, AB and Jill Groves (Lane) of Edmonton, AB; as well as by loving family and friends. She was predeceased by her son Bill. A celebration of Lily’s life will be held at the family’s residence on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
